The National Police has arrested a woman in Palma for, supposedly, trying to suffocate his six-year-old daughter with a cushion in a house lto a city in Palma.
The Family and Women’s Care Unit of the National Police became aware of the events after the girl will enter in a hospital center. In a statement, the police force explained that the events occurred at the family home and It was the mother who requested an ambulance for the transfer of the minor due to seizures. The minor was treated at the center with various injuries that could have been caused by asphyxiation.
The agents began an investigation to clarify the facts, for which they carried out various procedures and took statements from several witnesses. In this way they found out that the mother had allegedly taken a cushion with which he would have suffocated the girl.
The minor suddenly began to convulse and, according to the investigation, it was at that moment that the mother would have realized what she was doing, so proceeded to call to the services of emergencies.
Once the police investigations were completed, the agents proceeded to arrest the mother for a possible crime of attempted murderfor which proceedings were initiated and the woman was brought to justice.
The minor was left in the care of a relative and was notified to the child protection service and other authorities. The mother is awaiting a forensic examination to determine your mental state.
