A touching goodbye. Beaten heartthrob Brož ends up in the Octagon and is looking forward to getting back on the ice

Although he showed another respectable performance in the main match of the 57th Octagon gala in Frankfurt, this time he was not enough for the German favorite Christian Eckerlin. However, this was not the most important thing after the battle was over. The dedicated warrior Miroslav Brož, one of the great sympathizers of the domestic scene, has decided to say goodbye to his wrestling career for good. He dreamed of at least one more return, but his health won’t let him back into the cage.

If it’s the final end, then at least let the goodbye be worth it. A big icon of the domestic MMA scene Miroslav Brož therefore, he did not hesitate to challenge German star Christian Eckerlin to his latest cage war. Very hard, but definitely a well-deserved break at the end of a breathtaking journey.

Bigger than ever before. How Oktagon rose from Královka to football stadiums

At the 57th gala evening in Frankfurt, he dreamed of only one thing. “I went through pain again, but thank God I made it to the day of the fight. Now I’m just hoping to sell everything I’ve trained. I’ll leave my heart there,” the wrestler nicknamed “The Inquisitor” promised before Saturday’s battle.

Give the last goodbye in the best way. Such was the plan, which ultimately worked out very well for Brož. Although he did not succeed in his last season, he will definitely remember this defeat fondly. He again gave his best in the cage and even showed promising tactics several times German millionaire.

Novotný: Míra is an incredible fighter

However, he did not allow any major complications in the cage and managed to get another important scalp with a responsible performance. He defeated the Czech fighter, who resisted even with his head chopped off, by TKO before the end of the second round. Nevertheless, immediately after the end of the match, he gave a huge bow to the battered Brož.

“Míra is an excellent athlete, he was dangerous until the last second. I was so precise in my strikes that I took this match for myself thanks to them. I pushed my farts, but he planted a few too. As I say, he was in the game until the end,” admitted Eckerlin, who was applauded by the packed hall in Frankfurt.

“From the looks of it, he doesn’t have a date tomorrow, but I think he’s content inside. In this he is absolutely unique. He is an incredible fighter,” the co-owner of Oktagon added to Brože’s address Ondřej Novotný.

His end was already talked about in the MMA circles some Friday. After his last return to the Octagon, he managed two very even matches with Robert Pukac and Tom Crosby, after which he asked for the last dance with Eckerlin. And as “The Inquisitor” promised, he did.

Brož is looking forward to training young goalkeepers

“It’s end. My health is not good and I have to quit,” he confirmed that he will probably not return to the cage. “I would like to thank the promoters and Christian so much that I could say goodbye right here. What are we going to do, I’m not as good a fighter as Patrik Kincl et al. to sell out halls. But thanks to you, I was able to have the main match of the evening here,” said Brož modestly.

Polish delicacies? Nowhere. King Kincl remains in the Octagon and already knows the opponent to Eden

At the same time, he added that he dreamed of saying goodbye until the last moment. “I wanted to say goodbye in Prague, but I have about eight injuries that I need to heal. I’m sorry, but I’ve been doing this sport for fifteen years, it’s really big for me emotionally. It’s over,” said the Octagon heartthrob with tears in his eyes.

After the end of his wrestling career, however, Brož will definitely not be lost. He confirmed that he will once again devote himself fully to hockey, in which he previously had a very promising career. As a goalkeeper, he did not make it in the end, but now he will oversee the development of his younger colleagues with a mask.

“I train young children and already five of them have written to me that I am the greatest fighter for them. This is the biggest reward for me,” he concluded and immediately earned a huge round of applause at the press conference.
