He local tourism has become fashionable among tiktokers. More and more people are taking routes through different cities and towns in Spain to learn about their traditions, customs and differences with their places of origin.
One of those who is doing this type of routes is Jordi O’Riordan. In his itinerary, the young man has proposed visit the 50 provinces of which Spain is composed.
The last one he visited was Huesca, where the young man was surprised by what he can consume in a bar for just over a euro. His first impression of the city was not very good because the streets, in his opinion, are “dirty and neglected”, but when he got to the center, the content creator He has seen the city with different eyes.
“I have arrived at the market square and from here it has another face. What is undoubtedly not lacking are churches, there is one every three streets and they all have a very similar style. The coolest, of course, is the Cathedral and This is when I realized that there are no tourists“says the creator of the content.
Next, Jordi explained some of the reasons why Huesca seemed like a good city: “I parked in the center, the longest I walked was 15 minutes and there is no Starbucks or Zara on the shopping street, nor Burger King. It’s practically all local businesses“.
When it was time to eat, the young man tried the Aragonese migas, a dish that he accompanied with a glass of local wine, something that made him “very happy.” And, after enjoying the food, he went to have a coffee at the place he considered “the best in Huesca” for it: the casino. In the establishment, this drink cost only 1.40 euros, which for the tiktoker has been equal to “feel like a marquis.”
Finally, the young man has offered his final verdict on Huesca: “I think it’s a very cool city to retire in, But to live here if you are young things are complicated. Who knows, maybe the day I retire, I will come to live in Huesca, but for the moment, although it is not the best city I have seen, I think it does not deserve to be the least visited either.”
