A football player lost his leg and needs a prosthesis. A benefit is coming, and Ujfaluši will also arrive

/PHOTO GALLERY/ In an instant, he lost most of what fulfilled him in life – movement. Football defender Filip Zawada, who defended the colors of SK Solnice in the regional championship of Královéhradecka, is dealing with the consequences of an unfortunate event, after which his left lower limb had to be amputated. “I’m trying to fight it,” says the 21-year-old man, who, among other things, was active in the youth team of FC Hradec Králové.

Last season in Solnice’s jersey, he celebrated first place in the regional competition championship, but his life changed in August. A young football player had an unfortunate accident with fatal consequences. “While hunting, I was accidentally hit by a hunting weapon just above the knee, which caused the subsequent amputation of my leg,” Zawada recalls of the horrific moment.

At that moment he was even fighting for his life. “When I woke up from the coma, I found out that I had undergone an amputation and that was a big blow for me. But, paradoxically, I started to realize it only a few days later, and with that came very depressing moments,” he recalls.

However, I am happy that I can participate in the running of the club at least in a small part as a team leader,” he is happy that he is still at least a part of his current SK Solnice team.

“Life certainly doesn’t end, but it’s a huge obstacle that will never go away. It is up to me to adapt to it as best I can and try to mitigate it. I try not to resent life, to continue with it and enjoy it,” the young fighter points out.

Filip Zawada is currently trying to raise funds for the new Genium X3 bionic prosthesis, which will open up new possibilities for him. But there is one catch: it costs a million and a half!

Jiří Štěpánek started at the age of 72 in the Skalice B jersey in a district competition match. His team beat Českolip Lokomotiva's reserve 5:3.

He put on the tape and converted the penalty. Štěpánek managed it at the age of 72

“I could move better with her, walk up the stairs in an alternating walk. It will also enable faster movements, or even easier running. The prosthesis is also waterproof, so I could go in the water with it. The most important thing, however, is that it would bring me back to sports and enable some leisure sports activities,” points out the Vamberka football student.

It pits Zawada’s former teammates against his former coaches and other personalities. Among the well-known names we can mention, for example Tomáš UjfalušiMarek Kulič, Adrian Rolek, Martin Frýdek, Jakub Chleboun or Tomáš Rezek.

The match between Kožlí and Dlouha Vsí ended in court. A fan attacked the referee there.

A transparent account (131-2333590247/0100) was also created, through which the public can support the athlete, whom fate has not been kind to, in his journey to purchase the prosthesis of his dreams. “I am incredibly happy and grateful for any kind of support,” thanks Filip Zawada.
