A fireplace is not the same as a stove
Fireplaces transmit heat by radiation on the front and by convection on the sides, causing the heat to be distributed equally throughout the room. Stoves accumulate heat in their structure, making it transmitted more directly. For interior designer Raquel Chamorro, it is essential to take into account the area to be heated when choosing the heating system for the outdoor space (terrace or porch). Gas heating sources reach up to 30 square meters and, on the other hand, electric ones heat an area of 10 or 15 square meters.she explains to us herself. This space was designed by the interior designer together with XaZa Outdoors for Casa Decor with a fireplace from the Focus brand, located in a module that allows use of the exterior also in winter.
It is a suspended and pivoting bioethanol fireplace. The Gyrofocus bioethanol model has been developed in collaboration with Ignisial Paris, a French specialist in high-end ethanol burners. It is self-sufficient thanks to its electric battery operation. The safe and fully electronic burner is operated with a remote control and combustion occurs without smoke. You do not need to install any duct to the outside (if the situation allows it).

- pellet fireplace. You can regulate the intensity and distribution of heat. Furthermore, bioethanol burners are not influenced by contact with the water inside.
- Electric fireplaces. They are more efficient than gas ones as they do not cause CO2 emissions. These types of heaters do not heat the air, but rather the surfaces. One of its main advantages is the absence of emissions, making it a sustainable heat source. They do not need a cylinder and can be placed in thousands of environments.
