Two female taxi drivers Barcelona have filed a complaint with the Catalan police after being victims of sexual assault and robbery by a clienta man who stole them and tied them with zip ties to the steering wheel.
Sources of the Mossos have confirmed the information advanced by The Newspaper about the complaints filed by these two taxi drivers, a case in which the police station of the Barcelona district of Sarrià -Sant Gervasi has opened an investigation.
In the two cases – one occurred on April 4 and the other on September 15 – a man got into a taxi driven by a woman around 6:00 a.m. near the confluence of the Josep Tarradellas avenue with Borrell Street.
After asking to be taken to Dolors Monserdà streets, in one case, and Pomaret streets, in the second, the man arrived at the requested destination. He threatened the taxi drivers with a knife of large dimensions, he left them tied with zip ties to the steering wheel and stole their belongings. The situation of the women also allowed him to touch them.
In the first of the events, the aggressor cut the woman’s wrists. A man who was in the area observed what was happening and came to the aid of the taxi driver. The man, according to the complainants, has gray hair and was wearing a cap in both cases. In April he was also wearing a coat.
