The escalation of the conflict in the Middle East has once again experienced a new night of bombings by the Israeli Army against Lebanon. In addition to continuing its offensive against the neighborhoods of Beirut that are strongholds of the Shiite militia Hezbollah, Israel has attacked for the first time the north of the country since clashes with the Shiite party-militia Hezbollah began on October 8, 2023.
Specifically, it has bombed the Beddaoui Palestinian refugee camp, five kilometers from the country’s second most important city, Tripoli, where has killed a leader of the armed wing of Hamasthe al-Qassam brigades, who died along with his wife and two children, according to the Lebanese and Israeli press.
Meanwhile, in the Lebanese capital, there have been up to twelve bombings against the southern suburbsknown as the Dahye, where they have attacked Hezbollah targets. Since the start of hostilities, Israel’s attacks have killed nearly 2,000 people and forced 1.2 million from their homes, mainly in southern and eastern Lebanon.
