RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic coming to Nintendo Switch this December

Fed up with Alton Towers, bored of Disney land? Well, with RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic players can create the ultimate theme park where visitors will be able to experience all the thrills and excitement they’ll ever need.  Players will be able to design and build their own roller coasters and rides, landscape the parks and manage the staff and finances to keep the guests happy and the money flowing.  As well as the ability to design their own roller coasters using the piece-by-piece building tools, players can also quickly build pre-made designs with a touch of a button and open them quickly to attract more visitors.

Players will be able to create soft and gentle rides for younger guests, wild and crazy rides for the thrill seekers, water rides and even transport rides to ferry guests to different areas of the park.  Of course, guests also get hungry and thirsty so a variety of stalls are also available to help that money keep flowing into the bank.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic features plenty of environments to build parks in for players wanting extra challenges, plus there are a variety of scenarios for players to run through to test their park management skills.

“Fans of RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic have been hoping for a Switch version and we are excited to bring it to the platform,” said Ethan Stearns, VP of Games Publishing at Atari. “Our partners at Graphite Lab did an amazing job translating RCT Classic’s detailed keyboard-based controls to controller input.”

Look out for RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic arriving on the Nintendo Switch 5th December.
