Dozens of Israelis take photos next to the Iranian missiles destroyed by the Iron Dome

Iran launched this Tuesday Israel nearly 200 ballistic missiles causing an escalation in the Gaza conflict. The vast majority of the remains of these missiles, intercepted by the Iron Dome, the advanced anti-missile system with which the country protects itself from this type of aggression, have been scattered in Israeli territory.

In the images released by different media agencies you can see young people and adults approaching the area and curiously touching the remains of the missiles that have fallen to the ground after being intercepted.

You can also see families with minors taking photos and selfies next to the projectile.

Iran has used its most advanced weapons in this attack. Among them, the new Fattah-2which can reach speeds of up to Mach 15 (about 5,104.35 meters per second) and which could have caused damage to the Israeli Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 defense systems, which are among the most advanced in the world.

These missiles have the ability to travel to speeds greater than five times the speed of soundmaking them extremely difficult to intercept with current missile defense technologies. In addition, they can have short, medium or intercontinental ranges depending on their design and the distance they can cover.
