Frank Fritzthe well-known presenter of treasure hunterhas died at the age of 58. His manager, Bill Stankey, was in charge of confirming the news of his death at a hospice in Davenport, Iowa, in the United States.
Also his friend and companion on television adventures, Mike Wolfeshared a statement mourning the loss.
“It is with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night.“, the television actor wrote on Instagram. “I have known Frank for more than half of my life, and what they have seen on television has always been what I have seen: a dreamer as sensitive as he is fun,” he explained.
“We have made countless trips and shared so many kilometersand I feel blessed to have been by his side as he took his final journey home. I love you, friend, and I will miss you very much.. I know you are in a better place,” he concluded, referring to the legendary History Channel program that brought them together.
treasure hunterspremiered in 2010, became one of the History Channel’s most popular shows. Both Fritz and Wolfe were part of the team that toured the United States in search of antiques and collectibles. Beyond that, The chemistry between them and their humor was one of the keys to the success of the formatin which, in 2021, Fritz stopped appearing.
