The Carter Center shows the supposed minutes of the Venezuelan elections that prove the triumph of Edmundo González Urrutia

The Carter Center’s senior advisor for Latin America, Jennie Lincoln, showed this Wednesday before the Organization of American States (OAS) alleged original voting records of the presidential elections of Venezuela on July 28, according to which the opposition standard bearer Edmundo González Urrutia won with 67%.

“It was sent to me by international mail, I am going to show it to you after this session so that you can see it. These are original minutes from Venezuela that have a QR code that is significant and that allows the witnesses of thousands and thousands of tables to systematically collect information,” he said at a press conference.

The minutes would show that the opponent Edmundo González Urrutia “had won the vote by 67% and (the president of Venezuela) Nicolás Maduro had achieved 31%,” he added.

The Carter Center served as an independent observer in the elections of July 28 in Venezuela

The opposition leader’s reaction

Edmundo González has recognized the “commitment” of the Carter Center’s senior advisor for Latin America, Jennie Lincoln, “for having the courage to show the voting records” of the last presidential elections in Venezuela, which “represent the sovereign will of the Venezuelan people.”

In social network X, González Urrutia, exiled in Spainhas expressed that “Venezuelans recognize the commitment of Jennie Lincoln of the Carter Center for having the courage to show the voting records and explain their value within the framework of recognizing the truth. The minutes represent the sovereign will of the Venezuelan people. And that is what the Carter Center shows the world today!”
