The Department of National Defense Canada has declassified this week the image of an unidentified flying object (UFO) which was shot down by the Air Force USAin collaboration with its neighboring country, over the skies of Alaska.
The photograph shows an apparently bright horseshoe-shaped object with poorly defined edges on the yukon territoryin northwestern Canada, on February 11, 2023.
In an internal email obtained by CTVNews, a Canadian brigadier general describes it this way: “The top quarter it’s metallicthe rest white. (It has) A 20-foot (six-meter) cable hanging underneath with a package of some kind suspended from it.”
It was shot down by a US Air Force F-22 fighter in a joint mission with the Canadian Armed Forces coinciding with the controversy of the Chinese spy balloon which was news at that time.
A former Royal Canadian Air Force officer told Daily Mail that, based on his conversations with three active-duty personnel who were involved in the shootdown, the object was a balloon similar to the Chinese device shot down days before.
On forums like Reddit, some users have cast doubt on the Chinese spy balloon hypothesis, claiming that there were high-quality images of those that were confirmed, and They wonder why there aren’t any of these.
