This is the sixth attack against the area since the start of the crossfire between the parties, on October 8, 2023, and the fourth in just a week. Israeli media have reported, citing anonymous sources, that the target of the Israeli attack on Hezbollah’s headquarters in the suburbs of Beirut was the head of the Shiite militia, Hassan Nasrallah.
