If football doesn’t work out! England ace Harry Kane wows in acting debut as he stars in The Office style mockumentary

England striker Harry Kane has made his acting debut in a new advert in the style of beloved US mockumentary The Office.

The famed footballer has swapped the Three Lions for the 3Bears after teaming with a German-British food firm of the same name, based in Munich, where he plays for Bayern Munich.

Kane, who has become a shareholder in the firm, channeled his inner Michael Scott as the star of a mockumentary resembling one of countless cringeworthy scenes from the American sitcom.

In the clip, a confused Kane plays the new boy at the 3Bears’ office, stunning staff by arriving for his first day on the job as if he were any other nine to five worker.

On his arrival into the office, he asks where to sit, leaving the room speechless before one of his bosses remarks: ‘He did say he wanted to be very involved.’

The food company, which was founded by husband and wife duo Tim and Caroline Nichols, are also working on a special Harry x 3Bears range as part of the star striker’s involvement.

3Bears was born out of a shared love for porridge that blossomed during their time living in London.

The couple embarked on a mission to introduce the beloved British staple to Germany, a country famed for its bread and ‘Brezel’ – which is pretzel in English.

The 3Bears brand – named after the English fairytale Goldilocks and the Three Bears – symbolises their quest to create that ‘just right’ porridge, made with heaps of fruit, wholegrain oats and natural ingredients.

Harry said: ‘As an athlete, breakfast is the most important meal for me, and of course, I’m really conscious of what I put in my body, as well as the bodies of my family.

‘When I discovered 3Bears, I loved that they took oats to another level. 3Bears oats are the perfect choice to fuel the body, they’re a great source of natural protein, fibre, and complex carbs.

‘And, all that with natural ingredients and no bad stuff added. So that’s why partnering with 3Bears feels like a natural fit’.

Caroline Nichols, co-founder of 3Bears, said: ‘Having Harry on board is nothing short of a dream come true.

‘He’s deeply committed to nutrition and holistic well- being, which aligns perfectly with what we stand for at 3Bears. We couldn’t have asked for a better ambassador to join us on this journey.’

Kane, who joined FC Bayern Munich last year, will not only be a shareholder but will also serve as the key face of the brand.

The collaboration will be unveiled to the public during the city’s famous Oktoberfest.

Tim Nichols, who left his job in London eight years ago to pursue the dream of building 3Bears with Caroline, added: ‘It’s been a wild ride, with ups and downs.

‘As an Englishman, a football fan, and a dad who loves sports and nutrition, having Harry, a football legend, join our small business is nothing short of magical.

‘Harry fully shares our vision of creating the tastiest oat products with natural ingredients and good nutrients – for a better life.

‘Together I’m convinced we can reach so many more people and become the better oat brand in every home. Exciting times ahead.’

Starting from winter, Kane’s image will grace the packaging of 3Bears’ core product range, including flavors like Apple-Cinnamon and Finest Cocoa, available across supermarkets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Internationally, 3Bears’ products can be purchased through their online shop and platforms like Amazon and especially also in the UK.

The British website 3Bears.co.uk will launch in time for the public announcement and his home country fans will be able purchase the 3Bears bestsellers.

Caroline, Tim, and Harry are also working on a special Harry x 3Bears range, which will be focusing on oats, great taste, and excellent nutrients.

Additionally, 3Bears is planning a UK market entry strategy and eyeing up further international markets.
