Legendary professional wrestler Rob Van Dam is launching a new social media platform named Only Wrestlers, directly inspired by the massive success of OnlyFans.
Rob Van Dam, who is currently signed to both All Elite Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment as a Legend, has partnered with fellow wrestler and spouse Katie Forbes to announce Only Wrestlers, a site that will allow fans to directly connect to their favorite pro wrestlers.

In an interview with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Forbes said that the new platform was directly inspired by OnlyFans (as well as an encounter with professional boxing legend Mike Tyson), which is primarily (though not exclusively) known for its adult-oriented content.
“Everyone’s heard of OnlyFans, so Rob Van Dam and I made a website called Only Wrestlers, and it’s pretty much the same concept,” Forbes revealed. “Wrestlers can post whatever content they want, and fans can interact with us. We’re excited to create a space that allows for genuine connections between fans and wrestlers.”
The site describes itself as a “first of it’s [sic] kind multifaceted global wrestling platform offering an interactive experience by unleashing game-changing fan engagement.” In addition to Van Dam and Forbes, the platform advertises involvement by Jordan Blue, Big Money Brady, Bella Madisyn, and many more.
Other iconic wrestlers involved include ECW legend Sabu, former WWE Superstar John Morrison, and Tessa Blanchard, the only woman to ever win the Impact (TNA) World Championship.

Forbes also revealed that there is a kind of trickle-down economics system to Only Wrestlers, saying, “We want this to be a win-win for everyone involved. Wrestlers can make money on Only Wrestlers, and fans can also earn by referring others.”
“If a fan brings in a new subscriber, they get 5% of what that person spends for a whole year. It’s a community-driven approach that benefits everyone.”

OnlyFans, the platform that inspired Forbes and Van Dam, is the world’s most popular subscription social media platform. It reportedly has over three million creators currently operating and over 200 million subscribers, which has inspired numerous other copycat platforms. The site itself has been the target of frequent controversy, usually over its reputation for providing adult content to subscribers.
Professional wrestlers have often struggled to sustain their careers and income sources in an industry that is overwhelmingly dominated by the WWE, so it will be interesting to see whether Only Wrestlers will be able to sustain itself as an alternative form of connection to fans.
