There is a long list of household chores that (almost) no one particularly enjoys. Cleaning the windows is, without a doubt, among the most hated. Don’t know how often you should do it? The experts at Better Homes and Gardens recently explained everything you should take into account.
“It’s a good idea to deep clean your windows once every six months.” They also recommend “a light cleaning about once a month that helps remove smudges, fingerprints and scratches.”
It also explains that you should “clean your windows in spring to eliminate dust and dirt left over from winter weather and to help eliminate pollen build-up.”
You should also “clean your windows in the fall to remove dirt and grime from summer storms and increase sunlight during the cooler months of the year.”
