Former US president and Republican candidate, donald trumpha denied this Thursday to cnn having said that he needed to have the kind of generals that Adolf Hitler had and criticized the media Atlantic -media that published said information- when asked about the reported comments.
“No, I never said that. I would never say that. It is a newspaper, which invented stories. He’s done it before. It is a magazine in decline. Right before the election,” Trump told CNN in Las Vegas, where he will hold a rally tonight.
This week, Atlantic said that, according to several sources, when The Republican magnate was in the White House and said he needed “the kind of generals Hitler had.”
A story confirmed by former chief of staff John Kelly, who said in a series of interviews that the former president spoke of the loyalty of Nazi generals to the dictator.
