Rafael Anzures Ortiz, legal director of Cooperativa La Cruz Azul, said in a press conference that the company has had to increase its production capacity in four more plants in the country and announce a new investment in Campeche to support the lack of production at the Tula plant.
“We have been very emphatic in asking the state government to go to court, to go to the authorities themselves, also of the federal government, to ensure that the Law is complied with and that this plant can operate again, this entire economy can be reactivated. ”, he noted.
The legal representative criticized the Secretary of Government of GentlemanGuillermo Olivares for proposing to negotiate with the dissident group of the Cooperative, led by Federico Sarabia, which he described as “ridiculous” because he claims the group keeps the facilities hostage, affecting the employment of more than 4 thousand people, directly and hint.
“The secretary himself has been notified of the resolution for more than a year,” he said; However, it has not acted in favor of the Cooperative to recover the facilities. He added that in order not to be affected, the cement company has had to increase their capacity in their plants Oaxaca, Puebla and Aguascalientes to withstand the impact of the inoperability of the Tula plant.
