We are currently experiencing a confrontation at the Federal level, which has already become a crisis, between the Executive and Legislative Branches, which have openly colluded to exterminate the Judicial Branch and replace it with one of their own, similar to their interests, and that is docile to command, and if materialized, it would give the Federal Executive Branch control of the three Powers of the Union, leaving at its entire disposal the issuance of Laws and Decrees, as well as total control of the administration of justice, leaving citizens and investors, at the mercy of the Government in power.
It is particularly serious that the person leading this confrontation is precisely the head of the Federal Executive, publicly declaring that she will not comply with any judicial order, in an open violation of provisions issued by Judges legally in office, which are even classified as crimes, which clearly reveal clearly and forcefully, the arrogance and intolerance of the separation of Powers in the Country, sending a clear message, not only to Mexicans, but to the entire world, that de facto THERE IS NO LONGER JUDICIAL POWER in the Country.
He even ventures to categorically affirm that the rulings are legally unfounded (when there are many specialists who believe otherwise), forgetting the maxim of “silent, we look prettier”, and recklessly and unnecessarily, he gets into the ring to make public this confrontation, and even threaten legal action against these judges, as has been the hallmark of the house, extortion and threats.
The worst thing about the case is that the bad example spreads, and some ministers affiliated with the 4T, such as Minister Batres, are already taking the line to judge tax matters, and in a recent trial, she voted against because she stated that even though the challenged tax rules are disproportionate, they cannot be declared invalid, “because the money collected by the State goes to the poorest”!!!!!!
He only needed to say that the food he brings home is also thanks to tax collection, and the truth is, with these ministers and judges, there will be everything but justice.
This is a clear example of what awaits taxpayers in the immediate future, when the judges and ministers of the 4T judge tax matters, and not only the administration of justice in general and the resolution of disputes with the authorities, since We will be at the mercy of the rulers, without any hope that the Laws will be applied impartially and the rule of law will be respected.
I have no doubt that all the investments that have been put on hold will follow Noroña’s advice, that it is better to go to other countries, since here, in Mexico, they will not enjoy legal security nor will there be the rule of law.
If no one can be sure that what is theirs is really theirs, and that the Laws protect it, and worse still, that even their life is in danger when facing an environment of insecurity in areas controlled and governed by criminals who exercise their authority, and that every day they cover more of the national territory, people will begin to vote with their feet, and they will go to another country, where it is not a failed state and they can have personal security, legal security, and the rule of law.
Without these basic inputs that the Government must provide and guarantee, it will not be possible for Mexico to prosper, for productive economic activity to be generated, and for there to be formal jobs for the population.
It is time to eliminate confrontations, to reach agreements to encourage and guarantee the legal security of investments, to make a 180-degree turn and respect the independence of the Powers of the Union, maintain the Autonomous Bodies, and not use the budget in a political manner clientelistic and opaque, making the details and details of the budget exercise available to the population, eliminating reserved data arguing a false and non-existent “national security”, with a true intention of doing things well, seeking social benefit and not personal or group.
If, as they say, corruption is over, what are they afraid of by making public spending transparent?
