Woman left horrified after Lush bath bomb leaves tub looking like a ‘crime scene’

A woman has been left horrified after an innocent bath bomb left her tub looking like a crime scene.

The content creator from Liverpool, who is known as the Lush Connoisseur online, regularly shares her finds and reviews of products from the beauty store with her 278,000 TikTok followers.

But one of her latest tests left her shocked to the core when it didn’t go as planned.

In a clip that racked up more than 16 million views, the 22-year-old revealed the bath bombs which didn’t pan out as planned.

These ‘wild bath bombs’ included the ‘TNT’ fizzer, which left her tub resembling a ‘crime scene’.

In the video, she dropped the bright red bath bomb into the water, which splattered up the side of the bath and the wall, giving the impression of blood.

The £3.75 TNT block was part of the store’s limited edition Minecraft range and claims to offer an ‘explosive bathing’ experience.

‘A calming fragrance of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage bursts out from red and white fizz as you become immersed in the sounds of crackling popping candy,’ a description on the website read.

Among the other bath bombs the Lush expert ‘sacrificed’ her bath for were the grass bath bomb and Ender dragon egg.

‘The grass bath bomb was definitely the messiest,’ she said. ‘I didn’t expect it at all. [It] turned my bath water into literal sewage.’

The product left the bath water a murky green colour and even left a trail of dirt behind once she’d drained it.

The grass bath bomb, also part of the Minecraft range is still available on the Lush website, with an average rating of 3.5 stars.

The giant dark Ender dragon Egg then ended up turning her fingertips black and once again left the tub stained.

‘Rip to my bath,’ she concluded, once she’d finished her tests.

At £16 the Ender Dragon egg, also from Minecraft, is one of the store’s more expensive bath bombs, with an average rating of three stars.

‘Lush should sell disposable bathtub liners like what they sell for crock pots for easy clean up lol,’ said another user.

Rue said: ‘The immediate red splash from tnt was honestly horrifying. Did it stain?’

‘I LOVE a messy Lush bath bomb, give me flowers and sticks and colour, give me all of it,’ added someone else.
