The Ministry of Health announced this Tuesday, 22nd, in a statement, that it is reinforcing environmental spraying in the city of Praia, taking into account the epidemiological situation.
According to the same source, it is in the city of Praia that the largest number of daily cases of dengue are concentrated, which is why there is a need to combat mosquito outbreaks.
In this sense, the Ministry of Health warns that in partnership with the National Civil Protection Service, it will intensify actions on the ground with the aim of reducing the population of mosquitoes, vectors that transmit dengue fever.

This Wednesday, the 23rd, the spraying team will be in the São Filipe neighborhood with spraying actions and raising awareness among the population.
The spraying actions will be attended by the National Coordinator of Actions to Response and Combat Dengue, Maria da Luz Lima, who will monitor this field work.
