The first reports indicate that after the robbery, alleged detonations of firearms were reported and that at the moment there are no arrests.
It should be noted that some people shared on social networks that they were supposedly detained in stores near the stolen jewelrywhich closed after the violent event.
In Cosmopol Square, located on the López Portillo Avenue, in Coacalcoa police operation was deployed, in addition to the store being closed after the assault. It was reported that the criminals left the mallets with which They broke the glass of the jewelry store.
The authorities of the State of Mexico, Coacalco and the commercial plaza have not commented on the robbery or to the loot of jewelry that was possibly stolen by the assailants this Tuesday in the plaza located in Coacalco and one of the most popular in the northern area of the Valley of Mexico.
Bizzarro is one of the jewelry stores most famous in the country, with more than 130 branches. It sells products ranging from rings, necklaces and pendants to luxury watches from brands such as Rado or Bulova, which reach 85 thousand pesos. It should be noted that last May a branch of the store, located in Apatzingán, Michoacán, was robbed.
Regarding Cosmopol, this violent incident is added to those recorded last September, when a body was found plastered inside a car that had been in the plaza’s parking lot for two weeks.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico opened a file on the facts, since the lines of investigation indicated that the man was murdered and his body was left in the plaza facilities while one of the possible perpetrators escaped.
