Iberdrola and the National Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (A3E) have joined forces to jointly promote measures in favor of efficient energy management and sustainability and promote Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) in Spain, both firms reported.
Specifically, with this agreement the electric company becomes part as a protective member of A3E, organization that represents more than 125 companies that cover the entire value chain of sustainable energy management and have 15 years of experience.
To support companies in meeting the objectives of the agreement, Iberdrola, together with Balantia, have launched a platform that designs emission reduction roadmaps, assuming, in addition to an improvement in the CO2 footprint, a economic savings by directly impacting energy efficiency.
Thus, Net Zero Emissions Manager (NZE Manager) identifies the actions with the greatest impact and provides dashboards focused on regulatory compliance. Besides, monitor goal progress dynamically and manage data from equipment inventories, invoices and asset profiles.
NZE Manager also performs a pre-calculation of the CAE and allows you to fully manage the process for the conversion of savings to CAE.
With the energy savings certificates (CAE), Iberdrola makes a direct discount on the purchase price. Thus, for a aerothermal system for companies, A client can benefit from a direct discount of up to 20% on the initial investment.
Commitment to sustainability
For its part, within its lines of action, A3E promotes the visibility of companies or entities in any sector that are carrying out projects and investments in energy efficiency and renewable energies and, therefore, are committed to sustainability and the fight against climate change.
The director of Smart Solutions at Iberdrola, Luis Buil, highlighted that the union with A3E represents “one more step” to face the challenge for Iberdrola of offer companies comprehensive solutions and support them in their emissions reduction objectives.
For his part, the president of A3E, Ginés Ángel García, pointed out that the alliance with Iberdrola allows “join efforts and continue working” in the purpose of more efficient energy consumption and with a new energy model that improves sustainability and competitiveness.
