This step by the Chief Executive coincides with the news that the Supreme Court has opened an investigation against the Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz, for an alleged crime of revealing secrets of which the partner of the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, accuses him. The Criminal Chamber has made the decision unanimously, following a reasoned statement submitted by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM), and has thus taken a step that is unprecedented in this democracy: the indictment of an attorney general.
