‘Polònia’ parodies the Ábalos case by putting Pedro Sánchez to sing for Tino Casal

The TV3 comedy show Poland has addressed the case abalosthe framework of alleged influence peddling in the purchase of masks during the pandemic, which is why the former Minister of Development was forced to resign from his position in the Government, although not from his membership as a deputy, which he now maintains as an independent.

In the sketch of the Catalan program you can see how a parodied Pedro Sanchez asks his secretary to make “the idiot with Ábalos’s ass” pass. But it turns out that the former minister is already there, complaining about being excluded from the government. “I only had six months left to join Iberdrola.”

And even though the president invites them to deal with the matter like adults, they end up running around the tablefighting for the deputy record that Ábalos still retains.

To end the conflict, Sánchez decides to seduce him by singing to him and that is where starts a version of Eloiseby Tino Casal, that goes from more friendship to less, as the story evolves.

“He’s a great guy, professional, there is no one like him / Good old Ábalos has my endorsement“, are some of the verses of the covered song, which at one point goes uphill, when both appear in front of a coffin and a gravedigger who takes measurements of the former minister.
