A taxi driver dies stabbed by a client in the parking lot of the Alcalá hospital

A taxi driver of Spanish nationality and 62 years old who was seriously injured yesterday afternoon after receiving several stab wounds in the taxi in which he worked in the emergency parking lot of the Príncipe de Asturias hospital in Alcala de Henares He died there this morning, police sources have reported.

The events took place at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday for reasons that are now being investigated. Apparently, the taxi driver had taken a client to the hospital and in the parking lot both argued, until the second pulled out a knife and stabbed the worker.

After a warning, doctors from the hospital itself went to the scene to perform the first interventions and then evacuate him to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), since he was very serious due to five stab wounds, that have affected his hands, lungs and liver, according to investigation sources.

Despite surgical interventions and blood transfusions, the taxi driver died this morning due to the severity of his injuries.

Although several Local and National Police patrols quickly approached, no arrests have been made so far.
