Raphael is still admitted to the 12 de Octubre Hospital, after having suffered a stroke last Tuesday the 17th December, during the recording of a Christmas special for The Revolt. Although the singer was first admitted to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital, just one day later he was transferred to October 12, where he is receiving visits from his loved ones.
This Saturday they went to the hospital, in turns, first the artist’s wife, Natalia Figueroa, with her eldest daughter, Alejandra Martosand later the youngest of the three brothers, Manuel, accompanied by one of his sons. The oldest, Jacobo Martos, was the last to attend and has confirmed that the singer has also received a visit from several of his grandchildren. Don’t miss the video with his statements.

Raphael and Natalia Figueroa have three children, Jacobo, Alejandra and Manuel, who have made them ‘numerous grandparents’, since between them they have eight grandchildren of different ages. Manuelathe oldest at 21 years old, and Carlos (18) are the result of the marriage of Alejandra, the singer’s only daughter, with Álvaro de Arenzana. They married in 2001 and separated two decades later. Jacobo, the eldest of the Martos brothers, is also separated. He married actress Toni Acosta in 2002, but the marriage separated in 2015. From that union, Nicolás (20) and Julia (16) were born. Finally, the youngest of the family, Manuel, formed his own large family with Amelia Bono. They said “I do” in 2008 but have also ended their union after several reconciliations. The ex-couple have four children: Jorge (15), Manuel (12), Gonzalo (11) and Jaime (7).
