Gabriela Guillén sat on the set of Friday! to open up about his relationship with Bertín Osborne and how the artist is facing fatherhood. The businesswoman took the opportunity to share details of a very significant event for her: the baptism of her little one, held in March in a cathedral in Valencia. “I didn’t invite Bertín, I invited Turronero. Bertín was sick, with Covid,” he revealed.
The baptism, according to the businesswoman, was an intimate and family celebration, where she sought to preserve the memories most important for your child. “I want him to have a nice memory with his cousins and surrounded by love,” he shared. Gabriela also spoke about Bertín’s gestures towards his son, revealing that they have maintained some contact. “Today nothing he does hurts me, I am happy with my son, he is missing out, but I no longer expect anything,” she confessed.
Through WhatsApp messages, Gabriela has continued speaking with the singer. “When I send him a photo he says ‘look at the dwarf, how handsome’. He laughs, it’s beautiful,” he explained. “The doors are open to meet him. “I don’t have a father, and my son has the right to have his father’s affection.”
Although Bertín was not present, Gabriela made it clear that there is an attempt at rapprochement on her part. “When his father passed away, I gave him my condolences and he told me that he would like to see us. We’ve been talking a lot, he’s calmer and more receptive. From time to time, I don’t put pressure on it,” he confessed, showing his hope.
As for how he envisions the future, he was very optimistic. “I am sure that everything will be fine because we have taken an important step,” she said. However, he also acknowledged that his priority remains protecting his son. “For me, my son’s name is something sacred. “I am going to maintain and protect him,” he assured, making it clear that his focus is on the child’s well-being.
Despite the disagreements, the businesswoman assured that she has good memories of her relationship with the singer. “I had a beautiful relationship with him and he was very empathetic at many times. Of course I do have feelings, he is the father of my son, I love him and I miss him. I hope there is a cordial relationship for the child,” he admitted.
With the paternity trial scheduled for January, she hopes this process will heal wounds and open new opportunities for the future. “I don’t justify it, but each person has their time,” he reflected, showing understanding towards Bertín and trusting that he will take the definitive step to become more involved in his son’s life.
Gabriela made it clear that, despite the challenges, her happiness is her son and the desire to build a better future for both of them. “I am in love with my son, and with that I have enough to be happy.”
