A trailer has arrived online for Queen of the Ring, the biographical sports drama from writer-director Ash Avildsen.
Based on Jeff Leen’s book The Queen of the Ring: Sex, Muscles, Diamonds, and the Making of an American Legend, the film tells the story of Mildred Burke (played by Emily Bett Rickards), a single mother who became the first million dollar female athlete in history and three time women’s champion, dominating the world of professional wrestling.
