The closing match of the 12/3 NXT was a Fatal 4-Way to decide the final spot in the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline. Coming out of the bout victorious was Eddy Thorpe, as he bested Lexis King, Cedric Alexander and Axiom. At the end of the show, cameras rushed backstage where Thorpe was laid out from an apparent attack. As of this writing, Thorpe is scheduled to compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge against Ethan Page, Je’Von Evans, Wes Lee and Nathan Frazer.
Eric Bischoff hosted a segment with Ridge Holland and NXT Champion Trick Williams ahead of their title bout at Deadline. It wrapped with Holland hitting Williams with the ‘Ridgeplex’ onto the announce table. Williams was stretchered off to an ambulance.
Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman appeared on the program to show support to Je’Von Evans ahead of Deadline.
