McIntyre is back in the mix.
Kicking off Monday Night Raw in Everett, Washington was CM Punk. He spoke about what his road to WrestleMania 41 could look like but was interrupted by Seth Rollins. Rollins stated that he wanted a fight, but Punk said Rollins is not on his radar.
The two talents came to blows before Jey Uso and Sami Zayn entered the picture to split them apart. Rollins made a comment about Jey running back to Roman Reigns. Zayn stood up for Jey, and Rollins responded by saying Jey is family to Reigns so what is Zayn’s reasoning for going back.
Rollins added that Zayn stabbed him in the back when he agreed to be on the same team as Punk at WarGames. Sami stated that he did not want Punk on the team, but he did want Rollins. That did not happen as Rollins declined multiple times and was against being on the same side as Reigns. Rollins called Reigns a ‘monster’ and Zayn said Rollins created that monster when he put a chair to Reigns’ back when he split The Shield.Â
Rollins added that Zayn put a chair to Reigns’ back as well. Before a singles match between Rollins and Zayn, Jey Uso was attacked backstage and Zayn suggested it was Rollins who did it.Â
Towards the conclusion of the bout, Zayn brought a chair inside the ring and wanted Rollins to admit he attacked Jey. Rollins threw Punk’s name out there and when Zayn put the chair down, Rollins trapped him in a pin for the win.Â
Post-match, Drew McIntyre returned by attacking Zayn. The last time McIntyre was on WWE programming was when he lost to CM Punk in their Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood.
