We found the best Black Friday beauty deals

Attention beauty lovers: We combed the web for the best Black Friday deals on skin care, hair care, makeup and more, and — spoiler — they’re really good. No measly 10 per cent off discounts or “get a free mini sample with your purchase” type of silliness — we’re talking only true-blue, mega-savings type of promotions. They’re highly likely to sell out, so we’ll stop talking now and get right to it.

Augustinus Bader The Cream, $168 (on sale from $210), ssense.com SHOP HERE

We found the best Black Friday beauty deals

Rarely has there been this much buzz around a moisturizer. It’s the go-to cream for tons of celebrities: Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Aniston, Hailey Bieber, Ashley Graham, Margot Robbie, Dakota Johnson — the list goes on! One Kit writer who tried was actually asked by a plastic surgeon friend of hers if she’d gotten Botox. That’s how dramatic the results were. The Cream (that’s what it’s called) is based on a salve a German professor of stem biology developed to heal burns. It works by putting cells in repair mode, thereby revitalizing skin and reducing wrinkles and dark spots. The only thing is, though, it ain’t cheap. But exceptionally, it’s currently 20 per cent off on Ssense. Now’s your chance to see why all those celebs are so wild for it.

Merit Flush Balm, $28 (on sale from $36), meritbeauty.com

Minimalist makeup brand Merit, beloved for its finger-friendly, “your face but glowier” products is currently running a sitewide 20 per cent off promo. The only exclusion are the gift sets, which are already discounted, but everything else is automatically discounted — no code needed. A great opportunity to see for yourself what all the hype is about or simply restock your faves. Our personal go-to’s are this Flush Balm, a cream blush that imparts the dewiest flush, The Minimalist, a complexion stick that nixes anything you’re not fond of while somehow looking like bare skin, and Clean Lash, a lifting and lengthening mascara that’s totally smudgeproof yet washes off swiftly with just a little warm water. Honestly, the whole range is brilliant, so you really can’t go wrong with anything you choose.

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt, $49 (on sale from $70), christopherobin.ca

OK, so we actually featured this deal in another article earlier this week but it was at Sephora and it has sadly since sold out. Good news though: The cult-classic scalp scrub from famed French hairdresser Christophe Robin (his celeb clients include Catherine Deneuve, Tilda Swinton, Claudia Schiffer et al.) is 30 per cent off on the brand’s website. (You can also shop its other bestsellers at up to 40 per cent off.) Trust us, it’s a must in your shower, ridding your scalp of product buildup (looking at you, dry shampoo) and debris once a week and leaving your hair looking and feeling reinvigorated (read: shinier, bouncier and cleaner longer).

This Cyber Week, get up to 50 per cent off select Caudalie products. For instance, the brand’s much lauded Beauty Elixir mist is 40 per cent off right now. Laced with grape extract and peppermint, rose and rosemary essential oils, the formula is inspired by the “Youth Elixir” of the Queen of Hungary in the 16th century, who apparently charmed the King of Poland, 35 years her junior, with her glowing visage. It’s wonderful for refreshing skin throughout the day, setting makeup, upping radiance and reducing the appearance of pores. Plus, it smells incredible.

R+Co High Dive Moisture Plus Shine Crme, $22 (on sale from $32), amazon.ca

This styling cream is a hairstylist favourite, infusing hydration and lustre without weighing down strands. It works just as well if you’re air-drying or using heat. “I love this product,” hairstylist Kelly Araujo (she’s been doing Tessa Virtue’s hair for years) once told The Kit. “It works really well on wavy hair, smoothing out frizz and adding beautiful shine and moisture with very soft hold.” It’s also the stuff the brand’s co-founder, Thom Priano, used to prep Timothée Chalamet’s curls for a GQ photo shoot.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, $15 (on sale from $21), amazon.ca SHOP HERE

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, $15 (on sale from $21), amazon.ca

It was the first-ever micellar water, and to this day, nothing beats it for gently — and efficiently — removing makeup, dirt and pollution. Derms love it because it gets the job done without stripping your skin or disrupting your moisture barrier. Use it before cleansing to remove the bulk of your makeup, or after washing your face in lieu of toner to get rid of any last traces or makeup or cleanser (a tip we learned from Dr. Renée Beach) or in the morning to refresh your skin instead of doing a full-on cleanse. An essential in any skin care routine, the famous pink-capped bottle is 30 per cent off on Amazon right now.
