In 2018, Venetian Ali Daimallah filed a patent to protect his invention: an innovative tea infuser, named Subtea’l. Four years later, the project has infused well. After a silver medal at the Lépine competition and the medal of the Eiffel Tower operating company in 2021, the good news is still linked.
Indeed, a few weeks ago, Ali Daimallah launched a crowdfunding campaign to help launch the manufacture of the infuser. The objective of €9,000 was exceeded a few days ago: ” I’m very happy, it’s a step that had to be taken“, rejoices the creator. However, he has decided to extend the prize pool until August 14 to allow those who join the project to pre-order a copy of Subtea’l. ” Everyone who does now will receive their infuser before Christmas“, assures Ali Daimallah.
The objects will be manufactured directly in his workshop in Vénéjan which must undergo some adjustments. ” I can’t wait to get my hands back in the clay“, he assures. Other good news: Subtea’l has been selected for the Paris Design week which takes place in September. This is an event that invites all enthusiasts to follow a route through different places in the capital to discover objects of art, design and fashion. The infuser will be exhibited in the crowdfunding house of KisskissBankbank, partner of the festival, which has selected only six projects on its online platform for this edition. We can also find Subtea’l at the Made in France show in November.
