CDMX.- It is unacceptable and suspicious that the alleged perpetrator led such a normal life because, according to the report from the Chihuahua State Prosecutor’s Office, he was a sponsor of a baseball team with the background he had and was known throughout the region, said President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador.
He added that it is going to be investigated whether there was impunity and protection since the alleged murderer of the two Jesuit priests had arrest warrants for which he assured that he will go to the bottom of the facts to make the truth known and if it is that there was an agreement.
“It is certain that the Jesuits who live in that area know everything and with great care they can help, they are also missionaries of people who dedicate their lives to helping the most dispossessed, the abandoned, the weak, it would help a lot if we know all”.
Given these facts, President López Obrador denied that the security strategy implemented by his government is going to be reconsidered, he assured that everything is working “it is no longer what it used to be, we are doing well.”
He insisted that previous governments never addressed the causes, nor did they attend to young people, a situation that López Obrador assures is the origin of the problem of insecurity in Mexico.
