Special Investigators (BOAs) can now be equipped with a short baton. Boas who, if the situation so requires, are allowed to use force, will eventually also receive handcuffs in their standard equipment. Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz (Justice) writes this in a letter to the House of Representatives.
