A popular vote, in which more than 200,000 votes have been received, has been the format chosen this year by the Magical Towns Association of Spain to elect the winners of the 2025 awards. The awards ceremony will take place in Fitur, on January 23, 2025, but we already know which locations have been the winners. Keep reading.
GOAT, CÓRDOBA
Magical Town of the Year Award 2025
It is the highest recognition granted by thousands of people to this municipality of Córdoba, a white town that is also the gateway to the Subbética Natural Park. The award highlights its example of integrating heritage and modernity, its historical and cultural wealth and its natural environment.

Nature has a place in the 2025 awards with the recognition for the management of natural spaces, which has fallen to the town of Castropol, on the western coast of Asturias, for its management of the Eo estuary, declared a Biosphere Reserve.
In active tourism, so fashionable in recent years, a Asturian town, Luarca, thanks to its hiking trails along with maritime activities.
