The Information Council of TVE has shown his “deepest indignation” due to the suspension of the opposition process for the category of informant, which was scheduled to take place during the course of this Sunday morning.
“We express our deepest indignation at the suspension of the opposition test in the information and content category. We hope that it be investigated and responsibilities be determined. We regret the inconvenience it has caused to all opponents,” stated his X profile.
More than 5,000 people were scheduled this Sunday for the test that was going to be held on the Somosaguas campus of the Complutense University of Madrid and to attend the exam and some of them have used social networks to denounce what they consider a “shameful” act.
The people waiting to take the test have demanded at the doors of the different faculties that someone come out to give explanations, and have criticized that they found out about the suspension of the exam before through social networks that by an official communication
Many of the opponents have complained about transportation or accommodation costs that they have paid, coming from other parts of Spain, and some of them have even arrived in Madrid from different points of Europe or even Latin America.
A new date for the exam will be announced in the coming days. “For reasons of force majeure, the exam to fill positions in the occupation type/specialty of Information and Content scheduled for today is postponed. September 29, 2024, “the new summons for the test will be announced in the coming days,” RTVE reported in a statement.
For its part, the USO RTVE union has explained that this decision has been made by the management of the RTVE Corporation together with all the unions “after detect a leak in the questions of the test”.
