Shota Umino has been pulled from Sunday’s NJPW World Tag League event in Osaka with an injury.

New Japan announced on Saturday that Umino had hurt his left ankle during the November 29th show in Shizuoka.

The promotion is hopeful for a speedy recovery, however, stating that Umino is expected to return for his A Block match on Monday, December 2nd, after receiving treatment.

Tomoaki Honma will take his place with Tiger Mask in Sunday’s non-tournament match with Chase Owens & KENTA.
