Renfe has mistakenly sold the tickets for the extension of the Avant service Lleida and Barcelona one day before the start of operation of this service, scheduled for this Tuesday. This has caused several passengers from the 7:05 a.m. convoy this Monday to find themselves at the Lleida station with the purchased ticket, but without seat. The convoy has about 240 seats and the tickets on sale were 480.
The overselling has caused a thirty travelers have made the trip between Lleida and Camp de Tarragona standinga point to which Renfe has sent a new train to offer a seat to these passengers and to those who had a ticket between Tarragona and the Catalan capital.
Double frequency starting this Tuesday
The Avant frequencies between Lleida and Barcelona at seven in the morning will be doubled starting this Tuesday, responding to one of the main user complaints who travel daily to the Catalan capital.
