Emily in… Shepherd’s Bush Market! Makeup free Lily Collins looks effortlessly chic in a trench coat and shades as she buys special souvenir for husband during London outing

From Paris to… Shepherd’s Bush Market!

Lily Collins put on a effortlessly stylish display as she swapped the French capital for some time in the heart of London.

Ditching her character’s bright and quirky fashion sense, the actress opted for a more understated look as she wrapped up in a brown trench coat.

Lily kept it casual in a pair of black wide legged trousers and white trainers while going makeup free for the outing.

Accessorising the look with a burgundy scarf and shades, the Netflix star, 35, made her way through the market before heading to Special Rider Books & Records (@specialriderbooksandrecords) to buy a special souvenir for her husband.

Purchasing The Non-Conformists by Martin Parr for her husband Charlie McDowell, bookshop owner George Wyndham described the actress as ‘charming’ after she paid a visit to his shop.

He told MailOnline: ‘She was very charming and erudite. We talked briefly about photography, particularly her love of the British photographer Martin Parr.

‘She said she wanted one of his early books as a present for her partner.’

Joined by her friends, Lily appeared in great spirits as she stopped to take pictures with fans after the latest series of the hit comedy drama series came to a close earlier this month.

After fans were left waiting for three whole weeks for the second half of the season to drop on the streaming platform, the show took a surprise dip away from Paris as Emily enjoyed a sunny jaunt to Rome.

With her love life once again at the forefront, fans were left guessing whether Emily would rekindle her romance with Gabriel, or start a new life across Europe with hunky Italian newcomer Marcello.

For much of the new episodes, it seemed that Emily’s romance with Gabriel was well and truly over, having grown increasingly uncomfortable about his close relationship with his ‘pregnant’ ex Camille.

However, mere hours after Emily broke off their romance, and brought an early end to her festive trip to the French Alps, Camille finally confessed to Gabriel that she was never expecting.

Earlier this month Lily confirmed Emily in Paris will be returning for season five much to the delight of fans.

Appearing on Good Morning America she revealed: ‘For the first time I get to talk about the fact that there will be a season five.

‘We all just found out ourselves, so this is brand new for everyone. I’m very excited.’

Emily in Paris season four part two arrived on September 12 and followed Emily as she gallivanted around the Italian capital of Rome.

Speaking of the new location, Lily revealed her hopes that she and the rest of the crew get to see more of Italy next season.

‘We explore Rome and I’m really hoping that for season five now that we get more of Italy,’ she said.

‘We had just the best time. The whole cast felt a little bit like Emily did season one running around the city wide eyed and just everything was just so exciting.’

She also lifted the lid on what it was like to work with first lady of France Brigitte Macron after she made a cameo appearance in the show’s fourth series.

‘It was a huge honor,’ she said. ‘It was also so surprising that she really loves the show and that she really wanted to be a part of it.

‘She invited Darren [Star] and I to have a conversation with her a couple of years ago about the show and what it’s done for France and for Paris.

‘She took her cameo in part one season one with jest and humor and we all found a way for her to be a part of it and come to set and she improv’d and it was, she and her improv made it of the show.’
